What is Piezo Inkjet?

Precision drop-on-demand printing for graphics-quality output.

Piezo inkjet uses a piezoelectric element that flexes under electrical charge to mechanically eject a precisely sized ink droplet — without heat. This allows a wider range of ink chemistries, including UV-curable inks, and enables the highest print resolution among industrial coding technologies.

Piezo systems are well suited to applications that need logos, graphics, or premium-quality variable data, not just simple text codes. The trade-off is higher capital cost and a need for disciplined nozzle maintenance to avoid clogging.
