Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 July 2026

These Terms govern your use of Mark & Code Calculator Engine (the 'Service'). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

Mark & Code Calculator Engine is a decision-support tool for industrial coding & marking technology purchases. It provides running-cost and TCO calculators, technology comparisons, an AI advisor, vendor/model reference data, and downloadable reports based on the inputs you provide.

The Service is informational and educational. It is not professional financial, engineering, tax, or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a formal vendor quotation, a certified financial audit, or independent due diligence before a purchase decision.

2. Accuracy of results

Calculator outputs, benchmark comparisons, vendor/model data, and AI-generated content are estimates based on the inputs you supply and general industry data built into the app. Actual running costs, vendor pricing, specifications, and outcomes may differ. You are responsible for verifying any figure before relying on it for a purchase, budget, or business decision.

AI-generated content (the AI Advisor and Advanced AI Report) is produced using a third-party large language model and may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate. Always sanity-check AI output against your own knowledge or a qualified professional before acting on it.

3. Payments

Some reports are paid, one-time digital purchases (not subscriptions), priced in Indian Rupees (INR) and processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details ourselves — that information is handled entirely by Razorpay under its own security and privacy practices.

See our Refund Policy for what happens if a paid report fails to generate.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information when using calculators, requesting a consultation, or making a purchase.
  • Do not use the Service to misrepresent vendor data or to make claims to third parties that this tool provides certified, audited, or vendor-endorsed figures.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service (including its AI Advisor or payment systems).

5. Intellectual property

The Service’s design, code, calculators, report templates, and written content are the property of the developer of Mark & Code Calculator Engine. Reports you purchase or generate are licensed to you for your own internal business use.

Vendor and brand names referenced in comparison tables and the vendor database (e.g. equipment manufacturers) are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used solely for factual, comparative reference and do not imply any affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement by those vendors.

6. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (including lost profit or a bad purchase decision) arising from your use of calculator outputs, AI-generated content, or vendor data.

7. Changes

These Terms may be updated from time to time as the Service evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

9. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent via the Feedback page in the app, or the "Get a Consultation" contact form.
